Episcia Black Pearl (Gesneriasceae)

Episcia Black Pearl is an interesting varieties with quilted, velvety dark green leaves and yellow - orange flowers. 

Dark green leaves with pink mother-of-pearl veins and a greenish center. Orange-red flowers with a yellow throat.

Episcias are sensitive to temperature, light levels and nutrient composition, all of which can affect appearance.

The variety has not yet become widespread, but today it belongs to the category of very promising hybrid forms.
